The charter of demands by Statecraft Foundation includes the following;

Statecraft Foundation respectfully calls on the Mandate Secretary and relevant authorities to ensure that Area Council Chairmen and Councillors actively engage residents and stakeholders in budget formulation and implementation processes. There should be mandatory public disclosure of budgets, allocations, expenditures, and Internally Generated Revenue. Routine maintenance of roads, markets, waste management systems, and public facilities should be prioritised, particularly within AMAC, Bwari, Kuje, and Gwagwalada. Primary healthcare and basic education service delivery across Area Councils must be strengthened as a matter of urgency.

Tomorrow we go to the polls for the local government elections. We wish FCT the very best in the forthcoming Area Council Elections.
