The Councillorship position is the very first point for every community to connect with political leadership in any given democracy. That is the position Honourable Engineer John Nobis Anunobi aims to occupy for the benefit of the people in Usuma Ward in Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council election coming up on the 21st of February. 2026.

Riding on the stallion of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Engr. Anunobi presents as a visionary leader with years of grassroots experience and a passionate advocate for community development.

The Honourable Engineer boasts not only of a wealth of experience but a deep sense of commitment to uplift the lives of members of his community, the Usuma Ward.

Being a seasoned, long-practising civil engineer, a project management professional, and a member of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE), a member of COREN, Anunobi approaches social challenges with practical solutions which are focused on infrastructural development, youth empowerment and leadership that is expressed in transparency.

He further presents as a builder of people-centred leadership who can be tested and trusted to be one of three councillors to represent Kubwa on policy and decision-making in the council.
