BWARI AREA COUNCIL ELECTION SERIES: HON. JOSIAH MUSA KOCHE

Hon. Josiah Musa Koche is the Chairmanship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) of Bwari Area Council for the February 21st FCT Area Councils Elections, 2026

He has been described as a dogged and reliable gentleman, a son of the Mai-Angwa of Chikakore Community, Chief Musa Koche, of Byazhin Ward in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council.

Hon. Josiah Musa Koche has a passion for development and infrastructure; this led him to acquire appropriate qualifications, including a National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from Interlink Polytechnic, Ijebu Ijesha, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from Bingham University, Nasarawa State.

Drawing on his vast experience and knowledge, he has consulted for private and public entities such as the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).

Honourable Musa Koche has been a youth and community leader, serving as Youth Leader of Chikakore Community in 2017 and Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association of Government Secondary School Chikakore from 2020 to 2022. He was the House of Representatives’ candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the AMAC/BWARI Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections.

He has a laudable vision as he aims to take the Chairmanship seat in Bwari Area Council, and that vision is: To make Bwari Area Council the best in FCT and Nigeria by building and sustaining an environment of peace and prosperity through a government that is accountable, and by creating wealth and ensuring socio-economic development of the people.

To see this vision actualised, the youthful aspirant is on a mission: To secure the future of our generation and that of our children by establishing a transparent and accountable government which shall be responsive to the needs of the people, ensure human capital development, and provide the necessary infrastructure to attract investments and engender sustainable socioeconomic growth.

Hon. Josiah Musa Koche has proposed that his administration, which is said to align with the principles of his political platform, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) shall be committed to establishing a policy blueprint that provides unprecedented positive change in the livelihood of the people and shall build a sustainable Area Council where infrastructure and human capital development shall be placed on a high premium. Poverty shall be fought to a standstill.
