TRANSGENERATIONAL COMMITMENT TO THE UN SDG’S.

Over the years, we have seen individuals like the late Jane Goodall , Al Gore and others commit to sustainable development. In these moments, we realize that once the visioner dies, the passion/vision/advocacy declines or worse still disappears. Ihe lives inn Africa its kind of a selfish thing as the visioner just wants to make  a name for himself and really no impact on the society.

The urgency of the times calls for a prompt commitment to Sustainable Development .As we live a life of positive influence while we get old , its time  we handover the batton to family members and people of younger generation to continue  the advocacy(while we are alive). We have to ship  the SDGs to them. They have to see the relatability of the UN SDG;s in their neighbourhood and wherever they go in the very basic aspects of life so that it will be 2nd nature to them and not like something enforced on them (if they feel its forced on them , then they wouldn’t practice it well but once they learn that sustainable development  concerns everyday living, then its easy and you will see a lot of micro-sustainability too).

We need to show the younger generation that a passion for the development of our planet is all that matters since we are all stewards. Young   people  have to realize that Sustainable Development changes the human soul. They must completely   and quickly   realize that they are the new voice  and force for Sustainable Development in these times that we so desire and need development. Its our collective responsibility . The whole world is in need of the younger generation. When we can influence the younger generation, then we are making a difference . No doubt, our lives are the solution to problems in this generation and beyond.
