The excited manager of the Nigerian Super Eagles expressed confidence and a sense of focus as his team and the entire country look forward to the semi-final match between the Super Eagles and the Moroccan side.

So actually, I’m good. I feel good.

The Atlas Lions, as hosts, are coming into the game with the entire home crowd behind them, creating some concerns for the fans of the Super Eagles. However, the Eagles coach does not seem to mind as he understands the seriousness of the next match and all that he and the team are up against. He told the press “Morocco are strong and playing at home. There will be pressure, but we respect them and believe in ourselves.” He added “The game of my team is good, sometimes very good, but sometimes there are some mistakes.” It is the possibility of mistakes that the team must look out for as they take on the formidable Moroccan side.

On team philosophy, Chelle said with a sense of pride, “So actually, I’m good. I feel good. I work with my player. I spend my time with them, and I’m very happy to be with this guys.”

The fans in Kubwa are already upbeat and forecasting the outcome of the game. Some are cautious, while others would rather not be categorical; then, there are the optimists who believe that the Nigerian side will progress to the finals based on their commendable performance throughout the competition so far.

Meanwhile, reports from the Eagles’ camp indicate that they held a training session behind closed doors perhaps to keep as secret their planned approach to the all-important TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 going on in Morocco.

For the first time in a LONG time,I’m actually optimistic about the Super Eagles’ chances against a serious opponent. Hope they won’t let me down. But, whatever happens today, they’ve actually been amazing all tournament.
